Rebecca was one of three finalists for the Colorado Book Award in the Popular Fiction category. The Colorado Book Awards (CBA) honors authors in ten categories. The CBA Gala 2007 took place downtown at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Over 300 guests, authors and local celebrities attended. The event concluded with announcements of the winners, including Ann Parker's Iron Ties in Popular Fiction. All the proceeds benefited the Colorado Center for the Book programs for children.
